This is a public service announcement regarding the NOW brand new Total Play Studios chatbar.
The TPS Chatroom has made a return in the form of a Facebook style chatbar, and although it's appearance quite nice so far, we hope to improve it as the months go by. But right now, it won't be making any progress unless YOU, the users, start using it. The staff of TPS encourage you to use the chatbar more often. We are not forcing or begging you to use it, but if it isn't used enough, it'll disappear again. We also want your feedback. What can we do to improve the chat? There is, however, a group chat feature involved, just click the "Member Chatroom" logo  on the left side of the chatbar to gain access to the main chatrooms. This way, you can go to other pages and you won't lose your spot in the chat room at all! Also gives you the ability to not need another tab, just for a chat room.
So, if you're going to stay logged in, please try out the chat once in while.

Notice: If you have recently used TPS-FB Connect here at TPS, and you cannot login anymore, nothing is broken. I just means you must login from now of using the "Connect via Facebook" button on the login screen!
It's now all set up! Facebook Connect and Total Play Studios are now implemented together to bring the convenience of one account for Facebook users! So, whats different for Total Play Studios members if you decide to connect both your TPS and FB accounts together? Facebook Connect is a system that allow any TPS Member with a Facebook account to connect to TPS easily, with just 1 single click. It saves you, the member, the hassle of registering to yet another site and maintaining another set of username and password. With this system, TPS can easily verify the identity the TPS/FB member and log them in easily. Read on for some reasons for these additions to TPS.

To coincide with the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, BC, Canada, Total Play Studios is hosting a massive EXP contest. Here is how it works, first come first serve, you pick a country. That country that you represent on TPS will help you gain the EXP you are wanting. For every medal your represented country receives during the Olympics, you receive EXP.
1 Gold Medal = 50EXP
1 Silver Medal = 20EXP
1 Bronze Medal = 10EXP
All together, there are over 80 countries participating. ONE COUNTRY PER PERSON, AND NO COUNTRY CAN BE PICKED TWICE.
Picking countries begins immediately, and the choosing process ends as soon as the Opening Ceremonies begin on February 12, 2010.
